With a strong inspiration from wildlife, the following collection is largely hand-drawn and coloured on a variety of textured papers and sometimes digitally-coloured. I have used reference from my own zoo photographs taken over the years (including working from little 6″ x 4″ pictures…). I’ve been fortunate to display a number of these pieces at art group exhibitions at Nature In Art museum and art gallery in Gloucestershire. This technique allows me to emphasise the drawn line more as a change from my brush mark-focused paintings.
